If an Wild in Africa Expeditions appeals to you, and you would like to make a reservation, it is advisable to contact an Wild in Africa Expeditions office and enquire if there is a position available for you on the particular expedition that you wish to go on. A booking form must then be completed and sent or faxed to the address of the Wild in Africa Expeditions Booking office in Johannesburg. A non-refundable deposit of 10% will be required to confirm your reservation. The total amount for the expedition is payable 28 days prior to the departure date of the expedition. If this amount is not paid in due time, Wild in Africa Expeditions may, at its own discretion, be entitled to regard the booking as cancelled.
A contract between Wild in Africa Expeditions and the client will only be concluded once the client has received receipt of payment from Wild in Africa Expeditions, and Wild in Africa Expeditions is in possession of a signed booking form. A detailed itinerary will be forwarded to you on receipt of your booking form and deposit.
If, after booking a safari with Wild in Africa Expeditions, you wish to change your expediton dates to a later or earlier period, it is advisable to contact Wild in Africa Expeditions to enquire as to if we can accommodate your wishes. If we are unable to meet your request, you will either have to get a replacement or cancel your booking with Wild in Africa Expeditions.
A cancellation letter must be sent to Wild in Africa Expeditions if you wish to terminate your booking. If a booking is cancelled more than 28 days prior to departure, only the full deposit will be retained by Wild in Africa Expeditions. If a booking is cancelled 22-28 days prior to departure, 40% of the total expedition fare will be payable by the client. If a booking is cancelled 15-21 days prior to departure, 60% of the total expedition fare will be payable by the client. If a booking is cancelled 14 days prior to departure, the client will be expected to meet the total payment of the expedition. If you fail to join a expedition, or join after departure, or leave prior to its completion, no reimbursement whatsoever will be made by Wild in Africa Expeditions.
Should an expedition be cancelled by Wild in Africa Expeditions, we will either refund full payment or offer an alternative expedition. If Wild in Africa Expeditions has to curtail an expedition after departure for any pertinent reason, i.e. wars, strikes, weather conditions and acts of God, then Wild in Africa Expeditions will not be held liable for any form of refund whatsoever. Wild in Africa Expeditions shall, at its own discretion, cancel any client's booking whom they deem unsuitable after departure of the said expedition. The objective of a small group expeditions is to enjoy the experience of group participation in most activities offered. Clients with strong individualistic attitudes will find this type of expedition difficult. All tours are subject to a minimum of four paying clients.
Travel insurance for any Wild in Africa Expeditions is compulsory. It is the client's responsibility to arrange comprehensive personal and medical insurance in their country of origin. In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being required whilst on a Wild in Africa Expeditions, the client shall be liable for the complete cost thereof. Your guide will be a qualified first aider who is more than competent to assist you through your minor third-world safari mishaps, i.e. cuts and bruises. Assistance to obtain travel insurance is available on request.
The Meals structure, i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner, is stipulated on the website. All beverages are for your own expense. Port of entry visa requirements are for the client's own expense. The Company will meet all transfers, hire costs and entry fees whilst on a Wild in Africa Expeditions. All excursions not undertaken by Wild in Africa Expeditions as a company outing, will be for own expense, i.e. flights, rafting, bungi-jumping, Table Mountain cable car, horse riding and all those stipulated in the itinerary. As our expeditions are planned far in advance, our prices are subject to surcharge without notice. Please note that our itineraries are subject to change, depending on local conditions. Our itineraries can therefore not be guaranteed, but Wild in Africa Expeditions will endeavor to substitute any changes with destinations of equivalent value.
Wild in Africa Expeditions shall not be held liable for any injury, damage or loss, including consequential loss to any client or their possessions howsoever caused. This includes personal injury, disease or death caused by or contributed to by negligence by Wild in Africa Expeditions, its employers or agents. If any additional expenses are incurred through delays, accidents or disruption of the planned itinerary beyond the control of Wild in Africa Expeditions, i.e. wars, strikes, weather conditions and acts of God, then such expenses are to be borne by the client.
An open mind and a flexible attitude are required in order to achieve the ultimate satisfaction whilst on an Wild in Africa Expedition in Third World African Countries.
